Demicon

A fun convention (400-600 phen) in Des Moines, IA. Demicon is held the first weekend in May.

We've never missed one of these. We met at Demicon 1, Myrna was Fan GoH at Demicon 3, and Gregg was fan GoH at Demicon 21.

ICON

Another fun convention that runs about the same size as Demicon. ICON has almost always been scheduled in October or early November. It's moved between Coralville and Cedar Rapids, IA rather chaotically.

ICON 7 was Gregg's first SF convention back in 1982. ICON 11 was Myrna's first ICON, and her second SF convention overall. They've both never missed an ICON since their first.

Myrna was Fan GoH at ICON 20.
Gregg was Fan GoH at ICON 28.

Gregg has invested a lot of time in ICON, chairing or co-chairing ICONs 21, 22, 32, and 33.

Worldcon

The 2005 World Science Fiction convention was in Glasgow, Scotland. Both Myrna and Gregg were there.

Gregg has been to Worldcons in Chicago, Orlando, Winnipeg, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Baltimore, Toronto, and Glasgow. Myrna has been to Worldcons in Glasgow, San Antonio, Baltimore, Chicago, and Toronto.
